Privacy and cookies
What we store, why, for how long, and what you can change yourself.
Who we are
Murder Mystery at Home is made by Robin Wessels in the Netherlands. Questions about your data: info@robinwessels.com.
What we store
- Your account: your name and email address when you log in with Google or with an email link, so you can find your games again.
- Your games: the story you picked, the players, their roles, answers and any photos they add. We need this to run the game. A game and everything in it is deleted automatically 60 days after it was created.
- Login: a cookie that keeps you logged in for up to 30 days. This one is necessary and does not need your consent.
- Email: login links and game emails are sent through Brevo, on our behalf.
Statistics, only with your consent
If you accept statistics, we use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to see how the site is used, such as which pages people visit. Google sets the cookies _ga and _ga_ for up to 2 years. Google may process this data outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. If you decline, none of this loads.
Your cookie choice is logged anonymously, without IP address or other personal data, so we can show that we asked. That log is kept for 24 months and is handled on our behalf by Robin Wessels via consent.robinwessels.com.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and you can withdraw your consent at any time with the button below. You may also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
